White Township Meeting Information

All boards meet at the White Township Municipal Office, 950 Indian Springs Road, except the Recreation Advisory Board which meets at the S&T Bank Arena, 497 East Pike Road.

Township Road Work Updates

🚧 Township Road Work June 15 – 19 🚧

Roadside mowing operations are underway throughout the Township.

The Road Crew will be working along Josephine Avenue between Clinton Avenue and Spring Street to complete storm pond site improvements and parking area construction. Crews will also be performing inlet repairs in the Saddlebrook neighborhood.

Motorists should expect delays and increased equipment traffic in these areas between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Junk Auto Ordinance – Second Draft Available for Public Review

The White Township Board of Supervisors is continuing its review of a proposed Junk Auto Ordinance. Following public feedback and discussion of the initial draft, revisions have been made and a second draft has been prepared for consideration.

The Board has not taken final action on the proposed ordinance. The purpose of posting this draft is to provide residents, property owners, and other interested parties an opportunity to review the proposed revisions as the ordinance development process continues.

White Township Stewardship Plan – DCNR Feedback

DCNR Letter Supports White’s Woods Stewardship Plan

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) has issued a letter to White Township following the January 6, 2025 review of the White’s Woods Stewardship Plan, titled “Preservation & Conservation of White’s Woods Nature Center.”

In the letter, DCNR acknowledges the Township’s strong commitment to developing a plan informed by public input and guidance from subject matter experts. The department notes that the plan is consistent with the Project 70 Land Acquisition and Borrowing Act and incorporates natural area best practices that support the passive recreation opportunities valued at White’s Woods. The letter is provided below.
